What is the Gift of a Lift Appeal?

 

Gift of a lift is for PNE Fans to be able to get to Deepdale on Boxing Day to see Preston take on Scunthorpe.  As most fans outside Preston will now know, there is no transport to running on Boxing Day.  So we have decided to try and help all the Fans that want to see the game but can't get there arrange lifts to the game and Home.

 

Basically, if you can Offer a Fan a lift to Deepdale from Any area of the UK, or need a lift please let us know. We want to compile a list of people needing a lift and those will to offer a lift, we will keep details secret, but share them within your Area.

All we ask is that you are 100% genuine, we accept no responsibility for meeting failing but hope this wont happen.  Please try not to over charge fellow supporters. Costs must be sorted amongst the 2 parties involved and we can not get involved in this. Once you have filled any Car Spaces you have or arranged a lift, please let us know immediately so we can keep the List up-to-date. Times and details should be set up and stuck to, if your offering a lift and the person does turn up, do not make yourself late. Also if you’re excepting a lift, if your lift doesn't turn up we apologise. We stress this is only a trail. And we are relying on the good nature of Fans.

It is your own responsibility for your own safety.  Few tips, communicate regularly with each other; try talking on the one or a meeting at Deepdale before a home game first. If you find out someone is not trustworthy please let us know immediately, we can remove details.
